1. Changes to the site
CareerFinger has the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Please visit this page frequently to check for updates. If at any time you see a change you don't agree with, you should discontinue the use of this site.
CareerFinger has the sole discretion to make changes to the site without notice. This includes all content, features, sections, services, prices, etc. CareerFinger may decide at any time to discontinue or impose limits to any features or services, restrict access to individuals and change price structures without notice or liability.

2. Website Use
CareerFinger may only be used by jobseekers, employers and recruiting agencies for employment-related activities. At no time can anyone use the site for unlawful purposes or for things that are not employment-related.

For this effect CareerFinger will grant you the right to access this site, provided you do not sell, modify, download, extract or reproduce its content in any way without the written consent of CareerFinger, including all text, images and design. You also agree you will not try to hack the site, its content and user passwords either manually or through the use of an automated tool. Furthermore, you will not engage into any activity that will cause damage to this site, including but not limited to viruses, trojans and worms You will not use a false identity, send mass emails, spam or solicit other users directly or indirectly and you will not upload or post any information that may be offensive to others, including but not limited to their personal information, insults and all pornographic material.

You agree that you are solely responsible for all information, communication and materials you upload or post to the website and that this information is truthful and lawful. CareerFinger will periodically audit the site and investigate user complains to determine if a breach of any of these terms or conditions has occurred and has the right to warn or ban violators at its discretion. In case of serious violations it will cooperate with law enforcement authorities to disclose all information uploaded by the user if need be.

3. Registration
The user is solely responsible for maintaining its account and password safe from other people. If at any point a user suspects his account or password have been compromised, he should notify CareerFinger immediately to contain the damage.

4. Intellectual Rights
The content on this site belongs exclusively to CareerFinger and its parent company Vamos a Canada Inc. You do not have the right to copy, download, reproduce, modify, sell or give away any part of the site without the written consent of CareerFinger. Banners or text about other companies displayed on CareerFinger are the property of their respective owners and are being used in CareerFinger with their consent.

5. Links and Third Party Materials
Links on CareerFinger are provided for your convenience either by CareerFinger itself or by a third party (Employer, candidate, recruitment agency or affiliate) and the company is not responsible for the content of the websites they take you to. If you decide to click on a link and visit these sites, you do so under your own risk and CareerFinger cannot be held liable for their content.

6. Disclaimer
CareerFinger does not make any representation or gives any warranty regarding its site, operation and content, including third party content, which is provided as-is.
CareerFinger does not have control over posted job offers. These are provided by employers and CareerFinger has no way of knowing or validating whether these opportunities or companies are legitimate. By applying or contacting these companies you assume all the risk involved in such dealings. By the same token, CareerFinger does not have control over registrations, so it does not offer any guarantee that users are who they say they are. By contacting other users you assume all the risks associated when dealing with strangers. In case of a dispute with a third party (including but not limited to employers, job seekers or recruiting agencies) you release CareerFinger from all claims and damages as the use of the site is at your own risk.

You agree that you are solely responsible for the information and materials you upload into the website including but not limited to your resume, contact information, etc.
CareerFinger does not have any control about the employment decisions made by companies so it will not be held liable for these.

7. Privacy Policy
As our client, you control the use of information you provide to us. We respect and will continue to respect the privacy of our customers. Because protecting your privacy is important to us, you can be assured that we will do everything in our power to protect it.

What personal information is being gathered and how will it be used?

Registration
When you register an account with CareerFinger, we will collect personal information such as you name, address, phone number, etc.
We will also collect job-history information, education, affiliation and all other data included on your resume(s). All this information will only be used by specific CareerFinger staff and by employers who have a written agreement with CareerFinger to be able to search our resume database.

Email and Newsletter
Upon registration you will automatically be on our newsletter list, and you will occasionally receive an email from us telling you about new and exciting things. You may always decline to receive these messages by clicking on the appropriate link within the email. Our newsletter is a benefit for customers, keeping you updated with the latest deals and news. In both cases your e-mail address is necessary to receive this.

Cookies
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. At CareerFinger we may use cookies only to facilitate your login process to "remember" who you are. You may disable the use of cookies in your browser at any time if you wish to do so.

Please be aware that we have links on our site that may collect personally identifiable information about you. This Privacy Statement does not cover the information practices or policies of such Web sites and CareerFinger cannot be held liable for these third party websites, as we have no control over them.

Who will the information be shared with, if anyone?

CareerFinger is a job portal, so personal information will be accessible to specific CareerFinger staff and employers who have an agreement with CareerFinger to be able to search our resume database. By registering an account with CareerFinger and/or posting your resume(s), you are giving your permission to CareerFinger and these employers to search your resume, access your personal information and contact you for possible job opportunities. In such case you assume all the risk involved.
CareerFinger will not sell or share your information with anyone for commercial purposes.

Opt Out Policy
At anytime, you can unsubscribe to CareerFinger's newsletter or email distribution list by sending an email to us or by clicking on the unsubscribe option within the email body.

What safeguards are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?
All credit card information you provide to CareerFinger (if any) is handled by Internet Secure, a 3rd party company specializing in secure credit card transactions using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. We do not capture or store any of your credit card info as this process is done entirely at Internet Secure's servers. We do not even have a way of getting that data and storing it ourselves.
CareerFinger relies on the expertise of a third party ISP to host and protect all user data.

What other information should I know about my privacy?
CareerFinger contains links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering another Web site for which CareerFinger has no responsibility. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of all such sites as their policies may be materially different from ours. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information. Please be very careful, responsible, and alert with this information, especially whenever you're online.
